Hello from Louisville, Kentucky! Our ASDA chapter is fondly referred to as “LASDA” on our campus, and it works to enrich the dental school experience for everyone at our school. LASDA hosts several social events throughout the year such as The Cusp of Carabelli, Odontoball, karaoke night, and a Louisville football game tailgate. Our chapter strives to provide monthly/weekly wellness opportunities, such as group workout classes. Something unique to Louisville is that our ASDA chapter also serves as the dental schools' student government (SGA). We use funds from SGA to occasionally provide lunches for every student and make upgrades to the school such as new water fountains! When not in class/clinic you might find our students playing ping-pong in the student lounge, listening to a “Bite-Night” advocacy event, or volunteering to clean up the space surrounding our school. Our chapter keeps life interesting for everyone here at ULSD!
