At Indiana University, we are the only dental school in our state. That being said, we take pride in striving to provide our school with valuable resources and information that can aid in educating and developing our state’s future dentists. This is accomplished through arranging business speakers and seminars, working alongside the Indiana Dental Association to advocate for the future of the dental profession locally and nationally, helping guide pre-dental students through their application process, arranging various philanthropic events, and ensuring our students make their personal wellness a priority so that they may deliver quality care to their patients. Each year, we attempt to hone our efforts to better address the changing needs of our student body and the profession. Recently, we have collaborated with our school and state dental association to provide students with additional mental health resources and even created a sustainability chair to address waste in our practices. IU’s ASDA chapter has been the launching point for many students to reach district positions and others even hold national positions; notably the 2022-23 ASDA President Justina Anigbo! Go Hoosiers!
